An Endangered World

An Endangered World by John Parker

This piece was commissioned by The Gap State High School in 2014 for their senior percussion ensemble “Asymmetry”. The title of this work refers to the fragility of our world and the people and animals whom inhabit it.

It is comprised of 6 movements played without break – The Awakening, Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Life.
