But don’t take our word for it. Some of Australia’s most accomplished drummers have given this new book by Dave Sanders their tick of approval:

“Overall, it’s the most comprehensive, beautifully graduated beginner drum book I’ve seen. You’ve also included sections like the ghost notes, one hand buzzes and opening of the hihat, which I’ve not seen in any other beginner books.

If I was to teach beginner students, this would be the book I would use as the foundational handbook. The sequential nature of the whole book and the layout is so clear and easy to follow. Brilliant!”

David Jones.
Australian master drummer / percussionist. Recipient of the Melbourne Prize for Music 2010.

“Dave once again has created a wonderful drum method book. This time for the beginner. It is typically clear and succinct. I can only imagine how helpful this book will be for someone at the beginning of their drum set journey “

Hamish Stuart – Freelance drummer

“Dave’s excellent teaching methods are reflected in this fine book and it deserves to have a place in any aspiring drummer’s library. Young drummers will greatly benefit from using it.”
